“Wake Me Up” is a song by Swedish DJ and electronic music producer Avicii, released on June 17, 2013.
The song mainly introduces the feeling of finding the way through the darkness. When people get the chance to travel the world, they may feel lost and stressful on the halfway. However, when people are getting wiser and older, they can finally find themselves. The reason why I chose this song is basically because I feel exactly the same when I am learning about the world through traveling. I went to Seattle and Vancouver alone this spring break. I love traveling by myself since I can go anywhere I like, talk to anybody and learn their cultures. When I was walking along the streets, I always thought about a lot of things like future and dreams. I would feel tired or desperate too. But once I carried the weight of the world, I could always get through all the challenges. That’s why I chose this song for my music video. Hope you will enjoy it!
